We welcome you to All Souls'...
aLL
Souls'
was conceived as a wartime mission to the children of Nichols
Hills. At the time, Nichols Hills, now in the heart of the north
Oklahoma City metropolitan area, was quite rural. Rationing of
gasoline during the second world war prevented Nichols Hills
residents, many of whom were members of St. Paul's Cathedral, from
attending services and taking their children to Sunday School.
Since those first humble days during WWII, All Souls' has continued to grow
and build and today has become a very vibrant and influential Church
in the Greater Oklahoma City area. Our spiritual emphasis is
based upon our mission statement;
"we seek to draw attention neither to ourselves,
nor to our parish, but to the Lord Jesus Christ, for he is the
source of our vision and the object of our worship," and we
accomplish this week in and week out, as we worship in a
traditional Angelican setting.
Today at All Souls', I hear over and over again how people have been
accepted, loved and challenged in their faith. This church, All
Souls' , is a wonderful place to worship and serve.
God’s presence is surely among us. We are truly thankful for our 60+
years of history, our spiritual vitality, our opportunities to
touch the lives of hundreds of people, and our bright and glorious
future. God’s grace is indeed amazing.
Please peruse this website to see who we are, where we are, and
where we are going. Ours is a great story, and we welcome you to
become part of it. We seek to encourage your relationship with Jesus
Christ and we challenge you to get connected in ministry with us as
we pursue our mission: Go! Make disciples and teach them to obey
the commands of Christ!
May God alone be honored through the life and ministry of this, His
Church.

Bright, Rector
