Choir
The Music Department of All Souls' Parish offers a varied choir program for all ages. Each chorister develops and refines musical skills that include the fundamentals of reading music, rhythm, diction and pitch. In addition to this musical training, choristers gain an understanding of and about appreciation for the church year: its seasons and feasts, and the role of the choir in worship. All choristers are taught the service music, prayers and creeds of the Church Finally, choristers socialize on an informal basis and are advised of others' concerns and joys. Regardless of age, membership in the church choir promotes a deeper understanding of the Church and her ways and fosters a life-long appreciation for great church music. All choirs are open to children and adults in the parish. For further information, contact Dr. Laura van der Windt.
