All Souls’ staff and teachers provide a safe and fun place for children to play, form friendships and get a little messy.  Our play-based curriculum allows children to “learn by doing” in a Christian environment.

Our Philosophy:

Our primary goal is to provide a safe and fun Christian environment for children to learn and play. Children learn best through play. All Souls’ teachers provide unstructured and structured play time depending on the age of the children in the classroom.

Our program is based on respect for each other and for the children in our program.

All Souls’ CDO has two scheduled enrollment periods: fall and summer sessions. A family may put a child’s name on the wait list at any time at no cost. The Child Information Form/Enrollment Form can be found at or at the reception desk outside the CDO office. The enrollment fee is $50.00 for one child and $25.00 for each additional child. A $25.00 activity fee is assessed to maintain enrollment for the spring session.

Half-day and One-Day enrollment is available only for children who attend pre-school. Please contact the director for fees and availability.

Monthly tuition ensures that your child has a spot at CDO. Credit cannot be given for vacation, illness, snow days, etc.

Our desire is to keep CDO staff and children as healthy as possible. Parents should keep their children at home if they are ill or showing symptoms of illness. We will always err on the side of caution when determining whether to call parents about a child who does not feel good. The CDO staff cannot administer any medication.

Many children at CDO are allergic to food items, have sensitivities to various products or experience seasonal allergies. We work with each family to make their child’s experience at CDO a safe and positive one.

Things You Can Do At Home To Help Your Child At CDO:

  • Make sure children get enough sleep.
  • Adjust nap/rest time if possible so that the schedule is consistent with his/her rest time at CDO.
  • Make sure your child eats breakfast before coming to CDO. A snack is served mid-morning each day but it is not breakfast.
  • Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and CDO activities.

 CDO Communication

CDO has a Facebook page. Pictures and other information is posted regularly. Like All Souls’ CDO.

Please talk to the director about concerns or questions you might have related to your child’s experience at CDO.

Each room has a Special Instruction Sheet. Please make note of any information about your child that the teachers should know. This can include a different pick-up person, changes in behavior, changes in eating habits, etc.

Notification of CDO Closing: CDO is closed for inclement weather by electronic notification. We do not follow school district closings.

All classrooms have two teachers. All teachers and staff are trained in CPR and First Aid. They also have Safeguarding God’s Children training, a requirement of the Episcopal Church.

CDO Supplies:

Please send the following supplies to CDO each day. All items should be labeled with the child’s name.

Nutritious lunch. We provide a lunch twice a month (included in tuition) of pizza and fresh fruit.

  1. Sleep mat or blanket depending on the age of your child. Sleep mats and blankets can be left in the room and taken home periodically for laundering.
  2. Supply of diapers, pacifier, comfort item if he/she uses one.
  3. Bring a change of clothing, including socks and underwear, in a Ziplock at the beginning of each session. Change out each season.
