Summer Mission
 Trip

Every Fall I’m excited about the Parish
coming to life and our Youth Program
gaining momentum for the upcoming school year. It’s no different this year! Matt Bell, our Youth Intern, and I are ready to get things rolling! We are here to serve the youth of our Parish and community and to provide opportunities for them to grow in their faith. We take our jobs serious and do our best to build relationships with our youth because it’s through relationships that meaningful ministry happens. I’m praying that we’ll have a great year of participation and that God will move among us.

At ASYM we do our best to program and plan a broad spectrum of events so that youth can find something to get plugged into.

Here are some ways to get plugged in now!
Revolution is the place for youth on Sunday nights from 6-7:23. Play crazy games, study God’s word, share in authentic discussion and end with some grub! We divide according to age groups for discussions on tough and sensitive topics.

· 6th Grade Only on Sunday nights from 4:30-5:30.  A program designed for the needs of 6th graders.

· Sunday School, Sunday mornings after the 9:15 service.  We truly have the best Middle & High School Sunday School teachers on the planet.

· 6 & 8-week bible studies throughout the year for guys and girls.
· Ski Copper Mt. 09’.  Our ski trips are always an adventure!  Just ask anyone who’s gone.

From the Illinois River Float trip, Short-term Mission Trip, Late Nights and more… there’s something for    everyone. Make this year the year you commit to All Souls’ Youth Ministry!

All Souls’ Youth Ministry…committed to helping youth love God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength and in loving one another.

Attention Women of
All Souls!

E.C.W. invites you to attend the first luncheon of the 2008-2009 year!

 Tuesday, Sept. 16th, Noon-1:30 p.m.
Parish Hall

All Souls’ ECW will kick-off its speaker luncheon series Tuesday, Sept. 16 at noon, with author Laurel Anderson. Her intended topic is “7 Rules to Tap Your Creativity”, but if past experience is any indication, we may also hear fun stories about her marriage to Dr. Michael Anderson, the inside scoop about an upcoming book and details of her spiritual quests. The author of How My Magic Refrigerator Sent Me to Paris Free, and editor of The Spiritual Times, Lolly uses faith, humor and common sense to inspire. “Lolly’s example is one of triumph beyond what our natural vision can bring and the reliance on the unseen goodness that awaits anyone who’s willing to venture to that place of audacious wonderment,” says one reviewer.

Remember, if you are a woman and a member of All Souls’, have attended All Souls’, or have just heard of All Souls’, you are already a member of ECW! You are encouraged to bring friends, and even men are allowed! Our gourmet luncheon chefs, D’Ann Crain, Mary Fraley, Marta Fusco and Carol Horch will continue their tradition of serving fabulous food for a very reasonable charge ($8 payable at the door).

Reservations are strongly encouraged by signing up or calling the church office, 842-1461).
