Worship This Sunday

Public worship services remain suspended until Palm Sunday (April 5), following the direction of the Bishop of Oklahoma, and out of love for our neighbors and concern for the common good. Nevertheless, the Lord’s Name continues to be praised in the hearts of his faithful people and within the hallowed walls of All Souls’ Church.
Sunday morning services are streaming online at allsoulsokc.com/live.
8:00 a.m. : The Litany, or General Supplication (1928 Book of Common Prayer)
10:00 a.m. : Holy Communion, with sermon, men’s quartet, and organ.
Join us online with prayerful hearts as we hear the Word of God, confess our sins, pray for the church and the world, and give God thanks and praise. Let us keep holy the Lord’s Day.

How Can I Help?

We are coordinating an effort to encourage parishioners who are isolating, with a regular phone call and an offer to go to the grocery store or pharmacy for them.
To request assistance (or if you know someone who needs assistance), call the church office at 405-842-1461

Chapel of St. Mary Open for Prayer

On weekdays, the Chapel of St. Mary and its votive chapel will remain open for private prayer and reflection during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). The clergy will continue to say the Daily Offices of Morning and Evening Prayer in the Chapel on weekdays and on Saturday evenings, maintaining a regular rhythm of prayer and intercession for the parish and the world. You can participate in the Daily Offices in your own home in several ways:

You can find the readings for Morning and Evening Prayer (along with the psalms appointed) on this website, maintained by an All Souls’ parishioner.

Consecration of New Bishop of Oklahoma Postponed

Postponed to May 30

The Rev. Poulson Reed will be Ordained and Consecrated as Bishop Coadjutor on May 30, in what will likely be a small service streamed online. Bishop-Elect Reed will serve as Bishop Coadjutor until Bishop Koniecnzy’s retirement at the end of the year, after which he will become the Bishop of Oklahoma. Of your charity, pray for Bishop-Elect Reed and his wife, Megan, and their three sons, as they transition to Oklahoma City from his current position as Rector of All Saints’ Episcopal Church and Day School, Phoenix.

ALMIGHTY God, the giver of all good gifts, who of thy divine providence hast appointed divers Orders in thy Church; Give thy grace, we humbly beseech thee, to all those who are to be called to any office and administration in the same, especially Poulson our Bishop-Elect; and so replenish them with the truth of thy doctrine, and endue them with innocency of life, that they may faithfully serve before thee, to the glory of thy great Name, and the benefit of thy holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
